Shane is Flintco Austin Area HSE Director with more than 40 years of experience in the construction and electrical industries. He began his career in the field as an electrician and foreman, giving him real-world insight that drives his practical, people-first approach to safety.
Shane has led construction safety management efforts by developing and implementing safety programs, training field teams on OSHA standards, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations. He is responsible for establishing and enforcing jobsite safety policies, conducting safety meetings, audits, and accident investigations.
Highly respected as a safety leader and trainer, Shane is known for building true safety cultures—not just enforcing rules. He has spoken at several events and colleges, Texas A@M Construction Science, UT Austin, ASSP (American Society of Safety Professionals) ABC (Association of Builders and Contractors) JMJ IIF CEO Forum Conference. A recipient of Flintco’s Chairman’s Award for Responsive Support, and an active community volunteer.
